Medical Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking Medical Laboratory Assistants for a busy laboratory in North London.

Position Details:

• Type: Temporary
• Hours: 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday
• Pay: £13.15 - £16.57 per hour

A large scientific company requires diligent and efficient Medical Laboratory Assistants to support the Sample Reception team.

Responsibilities include:

1. Receipt, identification, and preparation of all samples and request forms
2. Handling a high volume of incoming samples
3. Accurate logging using the specimen tracker system
4. Assisting with department queries via phone, email, or face-to-face
5. Performing other duties as assigned by the department

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a UK pathology laboratory, preferably with a Biomedical Science degree.

Attributes required include flexibility, motivation, team spirit, methodical approach, and excellent communication skills.
