Our client is a cutting-edge medical startup empowering radiologists and medical imaging specialists with its revolutionary Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution to detect medical conditions faster than ever before.
They are seeking their first Sales leader in the UK to establish and open the UK market by developing and implementing an effective sales strategy. This is a full-time, permanent, home-office-based position anywhere in the UK.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience selling into NHS Trusts, CCGs, UK hospitals, healthcare networks, radiology services.
- Experience in radiology, PACS systems, imaging analytics, and relevant clinical knowledge.
- Existing strong network of decision-makers and executives within the provider, payor, and regulatory segments with imaging contacts.
- Ability to present, position, and strategize with prospective providers the concept of AI.
- Working knowledge of UK Public Sector procurement channels (e.g., G-Cloud, CCS Frameworks) and healthcare technology accreditation schemes (e.g., NICE Technology Appraisal).
- Experience with HM Treasury Five Case Model for developing Public Sector Business Cases (an advantage).
- Strong experience with executing the full Business Development and sales cycle from initial presentation to deal closing.
- Excellent consultative sales skills, with strong presentation and written communication skills.
- Experience in establishing sales objectives, forecasting, and developing sales quotas for regions and territories.
- Self-starter, independent, and proactive in starting a regional market by signing new business.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing sales and business development activities, including identifying providers, developing go-to-market strategies, and establishing the company in the UK with a strong client base.
- Creating and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
- Managing the full Business Development and sales cycle from presentation to closing.
- Forecasting and setting sales objectives for regions and territories.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, negotiating, and closing major contracts.
- Providing strategic input on navigating the market, regulations, payment systems, and clinical needs of providers and stakeholders (NHSI, NHSE, AHSNs, CCGs, etc.).
- Developing regional market plans for total addressable market and AI solution penetration.
- Managing regional P&L, budgets, and goals.
- Liaising with product teams for market feedback and support.
- Coordinating with professional services to ensure excellent account support.
