Job summary

Start Monday is seeking a Field Service Engineer for medical equipment, working from home and visiting clients across the UK to inspect, test and repair a range of electrical and mechanical medical devices. Training will be provided for all products, and you will travel to hospitals, clinics, and private residences within the designated regions.

The role requires a full UK driving licence (max 3 points) and the right to work in the UK; a DBS check may be undertaken.

Qualifications

• Experience as a field/service engineer or technician in medical or electrical equipment is preferred.
• Basic multimeter use and electrical test skills are required.
• Candidate must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence (max 3 points).

Responsibilities

• Visit clients mainly in private homes to perform safety inspections, tests and repairs on electrical and mechanical medical equipment.
• Travel across designated regions from home, covering postcodes listed and surrounding areas.
• Attend training provided by the company to stay up to date with product lines.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

• Newcastle, Durham, Tyneside, Sunderland - DH, DL, NE, SR, DL, TS postcodes

A manufacturer of healthcare equipment which includes hoists, slings, ceiling tracks, hoists and standing aid systems, are seeking Engineer's as they expand their service division.

Based from home, you will visit clients in mainly private homes and undertake the safety inspection, test & repair of a range of electrical & mechanical equipment, which includes hydraulics & pneumatic systems - for which training is provided.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Are you a Service Engineer, Field Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Appliance Engineer, Electrical Mate, Electrical Improver, Telecoms Engineer or Technician?
• Have basic Multi Meter experience?
• Do you want the stability working for a Manufacturer of Medical Appliances?
• If the answer is Yes - Then full product training is provided!

You must have a Full UK Driving Licence (max 3 points), happy for the company to undertake a clear DBS check and have the right to work within the UK.

SALARY & HOURS

• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (paid door to door)
• Basic starting salary £32-34,000
• Overtime
• On call rota 7 days per month paid a £25-50 per day + Overtime (average £250pw)
