Job summary

2gether Support Solutions Limited is recruiting an EME Technician for QEQM Hospital, Margate. The role is full-time, 8am–4pm, with on-call duties, supporting a range of diagnostic and point-of-care devices.

The ideal candidate has a medical device engineering background or related engineering training, with strong problem-solving and communication skills to ensure patient safety and device readiness.

Qualifications

• Computer literate, especially Excel.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clinical technical service for calibration and troubleshooting of diagnostic/point-of-care equipment.
• Identify hazardous symptoms and faults when in clinical areas.
• Liaise with clinical staff to undertake preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Communicate with patients in hospital and home about maintenance/repair of equipment.
• Carry out daily maintenance and repairs according to service standards and work instructions.
• Document work records accurately and timely.
