Neucin Design Ltd is a growing engineering consultancy specializing in medical devices. We seek an Engineering Technician to provide hands-on testing, prototyping, instrument care and documentation to support engineers in design and development.

You will set up tests, build test rigs and maintain equipment while ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and our QMS. The role involves lab and workshop duties, parts stock control and safe working practices.

Formación

• Hands-on engineering experience in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with medical device development is advantageous.
• Experience with test rigs, prototyping and inspection procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, run and monitor tests on devices, components and sub-assemblies, following defined test protocols and methods.
• Accurately record, log and report test results and data, escalating anomalies to the engineering team.
• Build, set up, maintain and look after test rigs and test equipment for reliable use.
• Support the preparation and execution of design verification and validation activities, including sample prep and test readiness.
• Carry out regular equipment and safety checks and routine maintenance to keep equipment safe.
• Maintain calibration records and schedules, coordinating external calibration as required.
• Coordinate equipment repairs with internal staff and external suppliers to minimize downtime.
• Monitor the cleanroom and facilities, including environmental checks and housekeeping.
