The position
In this strategic and forward-facing leadership role, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to shape the medical direction of emerging therapy areas at Novo Nordisk, driving innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence at both national and global levels.
You will report directly to Director of Medical Affairs, Rare Diseases and Emerging Therapy Areas.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess outstanding business and personal leadership skills, combined with the ability to manage complex tasks and organisational issues.
You should also have:
• Advanced scientific qualification such as MD/MBBS/PhD/Mpharm.
• At least 5 years’ experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical / medical devices / biotechnology industries and leadership experience within medical affairs.
• Clinical experience in NHS / Therapy area knowledge and prior experience in Neurology / Alzheimer or MASH diseases.
• Firm understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice and the relevant regulations relating to advertising
• Strong understanding of UK healthcare environment, both NHS and private.
• Fluency in English, Verbal and Written.
