Plimsoll is seeking a Media Support Operator to join our Bristol office. You will work in the Hire & Technical department, running ingest and media backups, providing 1st line edit support, and prepping edit/DIT equipment.

The ideal candidate will work well independently and as part of a busy team, staying focused under tight deadlines. Post-production experience and knowledge of Avid Media Composer and LTO systems are an advantage.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working in a post-production or production environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of LTO systems, Avid Media Composer and offline editing workflows.

MEDIA SUPPORT OPERATOR

Location - Bristol

Plimsoll is looking for a Media Support Operator to start in our Bristol office. This fantastic role will be based in Plimsoll’s busy Hire & Technical department where you will be responsible for running our ingest and media backups, 1st line edit support, and prep of edit / DIT equipment.

The ideal candidate will be confident to work on their own, whilst also enjoying being part of a hard working team. They will be task focussed with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

Experience working in a post-production or production environment is an advantage, as is knowledge of LTO systems, Avid media composer and offline editing workflows.

Working 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri on a shift-based pattern, with occasional weekend working if required.

Start date: ASAP

End date: 18th December 2026

Based: Bristol office
