Role Purpose
We are seeking a candidate with a background or strong interest in media-related studies and skills to support our Project-Based Learning approach at Gesher. The role offers opportunities to develop a Media pathway at the school. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about showcasing their media skills and supporting students' technological growth while fostering their interests and passions in Media.

As a Teaching Assistant at Gesher, you will collaborate with teaching staff to deliver an inclusive, engaging, and nurturing educational experience rooted in our relational ethos and commitment to Project-Based Learning (PBL). You will support students' holistic development both in and outside the classroom, helping them become confident, independent learners and active community members.

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering confident, caring students who demonstrate responsibility and pride
  • Assisting in creating a welcoming, stimulating environment
  • Supporting the smooth operation of the school

  • Supporting young people to thrive and reach their full potential
  • Working within a collaborative learning team to meet each student's needs and maximize learning opportunities
  • Participating in a therapeutic team that collaborates with families to support emotional, social, and academic development
  • Engaging with families to improve the lives and opportunities of young people with SEND, ensuring their health, safety, enjoyment, and achievement
