Are you looking for your next Media Relations Manager opportunity in an award-winning creative environment? Are you a natural storyteller with a passion for media relations and PR?

We have a very exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced PR Media Relations Manager to join an award-winning integrated agency in West Yorkshire with the opportunity to work across a range of dynamic client accounts in both the consumer and B2B space, and alongside a collaborative team of creatives, strategists, digital marketers, and content experts.

We’re after someone who thrives on crafting compelling narratives, building media contacts, and landing high-impact coverage. You’ll work closely with internal teams to deliver joined-up communications strategies and make a real difference to the brands you represent.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their goals
• Collaborating with creative, digital, and content teams
• Creating press materials and pitching to the media
• Monitoring for breaking stories and jumping on news hooks
• Identifying proactive opportunities for comment and thought leadership
• Preparing articles and press releases for the media and identifying and securing comment opportunities to achieve coverage
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and editors

What we’re looking for:

• Solid agency PR and media relations experience, experience across social and digital channels
• An excellent track record of building and maintaining journalist relationships
• Strong copywriting and editing skills
• A good understanding of national, regional, and trade media
• Confidence when presenting ideas and campaign strategies
• Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• A strategic mindset and creative approach
