We are partnered with a European HQ Asset Management firm to support in hiring for brand new role within Communications. We are looking for an experienced Media Relations professional who can promote and protect our client's brand across Europe as well as play a key role in managing external communication, corporate storytelling and press relations.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the head of communication with corporate comms projects, including advising the business on communication approach, developing communications plans, drafting announcements, reactive statements and Q&As, managing dissemination and supporting internal and client comms.
• Development of annual media relations plan designed to enhance the brand, improve the profile of key spokespeople and manage any reputational issues
• Managing media relations agencies across Europe
• Handling in-bound press requests in a timely manner, including offering an advisory service to the business on how best to respond.
• Developing compelling pitches to support sales and marketing priorities
• Lead development of the earned-media content strategy, with a focus on news-cycle-driven content consistent withmarketing and sales priorities.
• Work with spokespeople, product and marketing teams to produce high-quality engaging content for media that can also be used with clients.
• Contribute to the development of key spokespeople’s social media strategy, with a particular focus on content created for social media.
