What you'll be doingFuture's dynamic Planning Team is seeking a Media Planning Manager to join us. The Planning Team crafts top-tier RFPs and proposals for the commercial team across Future's main specialist markets, including Sports, Equestrian, Marine, Caravan, and Music.
You will report to the Head of Planning and be responsible for delivering planning excellence and commercial profitability across various projects. This includes working on RFP responses and pitch decks.
You will collaborate with sales teams to develop tailored campaigns that meet specific client goals. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of market requirements and the ability to create customised media plans that enhance revenue and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Become a specialist in our target markets and provide strategic planning support tailored to client needs and goals.
- Partner with sales teams to develop and deliver Go To Market proposals, including:
- Pitch decks and media plans for proactive/reactive sales opportunities
- High-value, branded content and sponsorship proposals for key clients
- Annual review decks to support client retention and growth opportunities
- Utilise industry and proprietary media tools to analyse consumer behaviour and media usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—insights, creative, programmatic, business intelligence, and production—to achieve results.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...- Proven experience in media planning and strategy.
- Expertise in developing tailored media solutions to meet client objectives.
- Experience with editorial and branded content to drive results.
- Ability to manage proposals across various clients, brands, and audiences.
- Broad knowledge of print, digital, events, social media, branded content, and programmatic advertising.
What's in it for youThe salary range for this role is £27,500 - £45,000.
This is a Hybrid role based at our London Paddington Office, working three days in the office and two from home.
