Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking a Lecturer in Media to join the Performing Arts department at the Kettering campus. You will deliver, assess and verify Media subjects at Levels 2–5, while supporting course administration and learner progress.

We welcome candidates with a degree in a relevant subject and strong industry experience in media production. The role includes safeguarding, EDI and CPD responsibilities in a professional learning environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject with industry experience in media production
• Experience delivering teaching across levels and creating engaging learning environments
• Knowledge of current trends in media production and software applications
• Commitment to safeguarding, EDI, health & safety and CPD responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Teach, learn and deliver media instruction across Levels 2–5
• Complete course-related administration and learner tracking
• Contribute to curriculum design and course leadership development
• Uphold safeguarding and professional standards in a safe learning environment
