A leading college in Bromley is seeking a Media Learning Support Assistant to work with SEND students in a creative environment. The role involves supporting students with additional needs in Media subjects, requiring relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for education. Job Title: Media Learning Support Assistant (SEND) Location: Bromley, Greater London Hours: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Contract: Long-Term A well-regarded college in Bromley is seeking experienced and reliable Media Learning Support Assistants to join their dedicated SEND support team. This role involves working with students with additional needs, primarily in group settings, within the college’s Media department. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong interest or background in animation, TV production, or graphic design who are passionate about inclusive education and can bring creativity to student engagement and learning. Key Responsibilities: • Support SEND students studying Media in shared classroom environments • Assist with learning activities involving video editing, animation, and graphic media tools • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure individual learning plans are met • Encourage student independence and engagement in creative projects • Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment Requirements: • Experience supporting students with SEND in an educational setting • Interest or experience in Media, particularly animation, TV production, or graphics • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Live locally to Bromley • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) What We’re Offering: • Full-time hours in a creative and collaborative college environment • The opportunity to work on exciting, student-led media projects • A long-term role with scope for development and stability If you’re a creative and committed individual looking to make a difference in young people’s lives through media and education, we want to hear from you.
