Job summary

Elanco is seeking a hands-on Mechatronics Technician (Multi‑Skilled) to join the Reliability Team at the Speke manufacturing site. You will help improve asset reliability, reduce repeat failures, and accelerate issue resolution across packaging lines, filling systems, and utilities.

You’ll work Monday to Friday (day shift), solving problems across diverse equipment, collaborating with engineers and operations, and contributing to long‑term equipment performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance with fault finding and planned maintenance.
• Multi-skilled engineering with mechanical and electrical fault finding abilities.
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to analyse repeat failures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation equipment failures across the site.
• Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out reactive maintenance and planned reliability activities to maximise uptime.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimise downtime and improve site performance.
• Record maintenance activities in CMMS with accurate reporting and history.
