Job summary

Odin Recruitment Group in Birchwood is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor with hands-on leadership to guide a workshop team of 5-6 engineers. You will oversee service operations across two sites, driving productivity, quality and technical excellence.

This role combines line management with direct technical involvement in gearboxes, motors, engines, pumps and drive chain components, with travel between sites as needed. Competitive salary of £50,000–£55,000, 10% bonus, overtime and 33 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Mechanical Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Strong knowledge of gearboxes, motors, engines, pumps, and rotating equipment.
• Hands-on experience with stripping, inspection, and repair of mechanical components.
• Willingness to travel across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 5-6 engineers.
