Job summary

NES Fircroft seeks a maintenance professional to execute assigned tasks safely and to quality standards within the planned timeframe. The role spans mechanical, electrical, HV, and analyser scopes, with dual trade training where applicable.

You will support approvals, spares, and accurate time writing on maintenance orders while ensuring safety and process compliance. Collaborative teamwork, strong safety values, and proactive troubleshooting are essential as you assist supervisors and engineers

Qualifications

• Minimum education: City & Guilds in a craft discipline or NVQ level 3.
• Recognised craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a petrochemicals/research environment.

Responsibilities

• Escalate technical support through the line (Supervisor, Maintenance Planner, Asset Engineer).
• Assist in punch-out and acceptance of work performed by others.
• Develop building craftsman competence and multi-discipline permit acceptance.
• Achieve building craftsman status if required.
• Maintain awareness of procedures and regulations for the discipline.
• Carry out high quality job reporting through SAP failure reporting and lessons learned.
