Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Norwich to support a well-known manufacturer. You will maintain pumps, valves, mixers, reactors and other mechanical systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation within the site maintenance plan and during shut-downs.

You will ideally have completed a mechanical apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC or equivalent with strong troubleshooting skills and experience in chemical, process or manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Completed mechanical apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC or equivalent with strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, control gear, and rotating machinery.
• Investigate equipment failures and perform corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and statutory checks, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Boiler House operations.
