Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Norwich is seeking a Mechanical Technician to support site maintenance and periodic shut-downs. You will work on pumps, valves, mixers, reactors, and other mechanical systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation within a continuous manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical apprenticeship/NVQ/HNC or equivalent and strong troubleshooting skills, with experience in chemical, process or manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills required.
• Experience in chemical, process or manufacturing environments valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pumps, valves, mixers, reactors, and rotating equipment.
• Investigate equipment failures and perform corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and statutory checks to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Oversee Boiler House operations.
