The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital is seeking three Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join the Estates dayshift team. The successful candidates will perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the hospital campus.
The primary focus will be on mechanical tasks. The role involves being part of a multi-skilled technical team responsible for delivering specialist services across various building disciplines, including but not limited to AC systems, hot water systems, ventilation, pressure systems, and medical gas systems. Flexibility to undertake cross-trade duties is essential to maintain high service standards.
The successful applicants will also assist in training and educating apprentices and adult trainees, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and experience. This will involve collaborating with managers to develop and implement training programs.
