Job description

Job Title: Aerospace Mechanical Technician

Contract Type: Permanent

The Role - Aerospace Mechanical Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical-biased Technician to join a prominent aerospace engineering business in the Wolverhampton area.

You will be assembling and testing a variety of complex mechanical systems, either in the repair section or in the new product build area.

Ideally, you will have some prior aerospace experience; however, this could also be a great entry point into the aerospace industry for the right candidate.

  • Finding and testing faults in complex hydraulic products.
  • Assembling complex hydraulic products.
  • Completing Quality Audits.
  • Building or repairing complex hydraulic systems.
  • Using measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, and Height Gauges to inspect parts.
Background - Aerospace Mechanical Technician
  • Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification, ideally in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and follow various procedures.
  • Competency with a range of assembly tools.
  • Hydraulic Testing Experience.
