Carry out hands‑on modification, construction, and maintenance of HVAC test rigs across a range of disciplines, including metalwork, timber fabrication, plumbing, and electrical wiring (power, communications, and instrumentation).
Interpret and work from technical and schematic drawings to build, adapt, and optimise test setups.
Support the delivery of experimental and testing programmes by setting up, operating, and adjusting equipment to meet project requirements.
Experience working with HVAC, mechanical or plumbing equipment and applying technical knowledge to resolve issues.
The test rig modifications will require the ability to work unsupervised across a very wide range of disciplines, building rigs; metalwork & timber fabrication, wiring; power, communication & instrumentation, and plumbing.
Ability to both understand technical drawings and to work from and interpret schematic drawings.
Self‑motivated and focussed, but also having the ability to work in a team.
Proficient in use of MS Office software for reports, data analysis and presentations.
Experience of working in a building‑services engineering related environment such as contracting, installation or commercial consultancy.
