Job summary

Luton Bennett is recruiting a Mechanical Technician (Workshop Engineer) in Wakefield for an international forklift manufacturer. The role involves planned maintenance and breakdowns on forklift trucks at a client site with an on-site workshop.

You may work 40 hours per week at up to £36k or 45 hours per week at up to £41k, with pension, life assurance and other benefits. The ideal candidate will have a level 3 or equivalent and experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, or similar equipment, plus

Mechanical Technician role available in an international manufacturer of forklift trucks offering full training on the products.

The Mechanical Technician role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, vehicles, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. You must have a level 3 or equivalent.

In a team of 4 engineers you'll be based at a client's site in Wakefield responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown on a range of forklift trucks. There is a dedicated workshop on site and a subsidised candidate on site.

The Mechanical Technician Role in Brief:

• Carry out PDI's, service and repair work on workshop and service basis on a range of forklift trucks at a client's site.
