Halewood-based facility is seeking a Vehicle Technician to service and repair a fleet of used forklift trucks, with full training provided by a reputable international manufacturer.

The role operates on a rotating schedule, with early morning shifts and a late shift window, and involves ordering parts and coordinating with the Workshop Manager at the client site in Halewood.

Qualifications

• Experience of working on vehicles, HGV's, forklifts, Cars, plant machinery etc.
• Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent
• IT literate

• Carry out service and repair work on workshop and service basis on a range of used forklift trucks.
• Order parts
• Mon to Thurs 6am to 3pm, Friday 6am to 12:30pm & Mon to Thurs 3pm to 11:30pm and Friday 12:30pm to 9pm

Vehicle Technician role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. This is an ideal role for those seeking a new industry offering full training.

The role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be suitable as full training on the fleet will be provided.

You’ll form part of a highly skilled team in a very reputable business. The role is mechanical and electrical service and repair of used forklifts. You’ll order any spares when needed and communicate progress to the Workshop Manager. The role is based at a client’s site in Halewood.
