Mechanical Technician

A£21.50 per hour + Following 6 months probation you will receive an annual fuel allowance of A£2000 per annum + Private Medical for yourself and dependants + Pension with 7% employer contribution and 5% employee + Holidays + Overtime Paid at Premium + Significant Opportunities for Training and Development + Progression Opportunities Long Term

Location: Peterhead

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Rotating shift pattern, 6 till 6.

Job Overview:
The Mechanical Technician is required for a market leading manufacturer who has plans for significant growth and investment. They are a successful independent company that offers a personable working environment with great opportunities for training, development, and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

1. PPM work and reactive breakdowns.
2. Maintenance of Production Machinery within a high-volume environment.
3. Work delegated from the Team Leader/Deputy Leader.
4. Mechanically working on: Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Conveyors, Gears, and Bearings. Machining or welding experience is advantageous although training can be provided.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Mechanically competent on the equipment listed.
2. Some form of Industrial experience is required; those from Ex forces, Manufacturing, Field Service or similar are encouraged to apply.
