Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Peterborough (12-Month Renewable Contract)

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our client's manufacturing site in Peterborough. This role involves modifying, testing, and repairing machinery and equipment under the guidance of engineering staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modify, test, and repair machinery and equipment.

  • Assist in the design, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical components.

  • Review and approve technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.

  • Analyze test data and adjust equipment to meet performance standards.

  • Supervise equipment testing and suggest performance improvements.

  • Communicate design changes and ensure drafting accuracy.
