A leading water services provider in London is seeking a Mechanical Technician to ensure the functionality of equipment at Beckton Sewage Treatment Works. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, providing technical advice, and performing maintenance on machinery. The ideal candidate should have relevant mechanical engineering qualifications and knowledge of health and safety standards. The role offers a competitive salary up to £39,000 and various benefits, including standby rota payments and overtime opportunities.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team at Beckton Sewage Treatment Works (STW). As the successful candidate, your role will be to ensure that all equipment at our waste treatment works is safe to use and running efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods. Base Location: Beckton STW
Working Pattern: 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 3:36 pm. Plus standby & overtime opportunity, increasing earnings by a potential £8,000 - £10,000. Upon completion of essential company training.
