Job description

Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician seeking a long-term opportunity in a regulated industry? Our client has an exciting role available at Hinkley Point A, working on the Hinkley A VRP Project.

Key Details:

1. Location: Hinkley Point A (TA5 1YA)
2. Clearance: BPSS (handled by the site after selection)
3. Hours: 44 hours per week (Monday–Thursday) – occasional voluntary work on weekends

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Installation of plant and equipment within a radiological controlled area
2. Working on mechanical installations and minor civils works (drilling & fixing into concrete)
3. Wearing specialised PPE & RPE (must be clean-shaven for face fit test compliance)
4. Background in regulated industries (nuclear preferred, but similar sectors considered)
5. Must hold a CSCS Labour Card or CCNSG Card
6. Ability to work safely in a controlled environment
