Qualifications

Job description

Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician looking for a long-term opportunity in a regulated industry? Our client have an exciting role available at Hinkley Point A, working on the Hinkley A VRP Project.

Key Details:

Location: Hinkley Point A (TA5 1YA)

Contract Length: Initial 12-month contract

Rate:Umbrella / PAYE

Clearance:BPSS (handled by the site after selection)

Hours: 44 hours per week (Monday–Thursday) – occasional voluntary work on weekends

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Installation of plant and equipment within a radiological controlled area

• Working on mechanical installations and minor civils works (drilling & fixing into concrete)

• Wearing specialised PPE & RPE (clean-shaven for face fit test compliance)

Essential Requirements:

• Background in regulated industries (nuclear preferred, but similar sectors considered)

• Must hold a CSCS Labour Card or CCNSG Card

• Ability to work safely in a controlled environment
