About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to carry out maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on plant equipment within our MEICA and capital maintenance services. The role involves supporting system isolation, diagnosing faults, and collaborating with teams to ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

1. Perform mechanical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment.
2. Support isolation and decommissioning of mechanical systems following safety procedures.
3. Diagnose faults and undertake corrective actions for plant reliability.
4. Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for shutdowns and project deadlines.
5. Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately for traceability and compliance.

Minimum requirements

• Recognized Mechanical Engineering Qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds).
• Experience in a regulated environment, preferably GMP/pharmaceutical.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and P&IDs.
• Commitment to health & safety standards and GMP compliance.
