Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Technical Director for Data Centres in Dublin with a hybrid work model. Lead the UK/EMEA data centre mechanical team and oversee technical delivery, work-winning and client engagement across projects to ensure on-time delivery and set standards.

Required Chartered Engineer (CEng) with CIBSE or equivalent, plus a proven leadership track record in data centre environments and multi-disciplinary team management.

Qualifications

• Leadership and delivery of Mechanical projects in Data Centres.
• Experience with work-winning and client management in DC sector.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical design and engineering practices for DC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Data Centre mechanical team.
• Oversee technical delivery strategy across EMEA DC sector.
• Ensure projects meet deliverables, standards and client needs.
• Guide risk management and financials for major projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business and market changes.
