Job summary

Rubicon Consulting seeks a Mechanical Supervisor for a 9-month contract based in Norwich. You will lead small teams, coordinate activities on behalf of the Site Manager, and ensure safety and compliant work execution.

Role requires CSCS/CCNSG Safety Passport, SSSTS/SMSTS, and experience on construction sites within Power, Gen–Oil & Gas sectors. Reports to Site Manager and maintains documentation and timesheets.

Qualifications

• Must have Apprentice trained, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with 1 year experience
• Or industry recognised training with 2+ years on an electricity supply/energy or general construction site
• Experience in mechanical or electrical installation activities
• Comply with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards in a Power environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the teams across multiple work fronts, ensuring tasks are delivered on time, to quality and within cost
• Coordinate with site management and other work parties, plan ahead with necessary information, plant, materials and labour
• Capture delays and disruptions, communicate deviations to management and keep timesheets and expenses up to date
