Job summary

Boyd Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced M&E Supervisor to oversee mechanical installations on commercial projects across Glasgow and Edinburgh. You will manage mechanical teams, coordinate with electrical works, and ensure site safety and quality, reporting to the Project Manager.

The role operates Monday to Friday, with a Company Vehicle provided and permanent preferred (contract considered for the right candidate).

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Foreman or Site Supervisor on commercial projects.
• Full UK driving licence.
• SSSTS certificate preferred but not essential.

• Lead teams of plumbers/heating installers and Electrical Engineers.

M&E Supervisor

Boyd Recruitment are currently working alongside an M&E Contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Supervisor. This will be working between Glasgow & Edinburgh sites.

The Company

Our client are well-reputed within the Scottish construction industry and are recruiting for a key area of their business. The successful candidate will play an important role in team management and reporting to Project Manager.

The Job

As a Mechanical Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Mechanical installations & have enough knowledge to manage Electrical Engineers on commercial projects

Monday - Friday 37.5hrs per week (8am - 4pm ) - OT May be available at a later date

Company Vehicle provided

Perm preferred but may consider contracting for the right candidate

DUTIES:

• Site Inductions and overseeing Mechanical & Electrical works
• Leading teams of Plumbers / Heating Installers & Electrical Engineers
• Managing and implementing Health and Safety procedures

THE CANDIDATE

The Successful candidate will have:

• On site delivery experience as an Mechanical Foreman/Supervisor
• Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of Mechanical systems and their installation methods, along with some knowledge of Electrical installs/upgrades
• Commercial experience
• Full UK Driving license

Requirements

• Must have experience working on commercial projects as a Mechanical Foreman or Site Supervisor
• Experience working in a maintenance & small works role
• SSSTS certificate preferred but not essential
