Job summary

Boyd Recruitment is working with an M&E contractor to recruit a Mechanical Supervisor based in Glasgow. You will oversee day-to-day mechanical installations on commercial projects, lead plumbers and heating installers, and report progress to the Project Manager.

The role requires on-site delivery experience, broad knowledge of mechanical systems, and the ability to plan workloads. A full UK driving licence is essential; SSSTS is preferred.

Qualifications

• On-site delivery experience as a Mechanical Foreman/Supervisor.
• Knowledge of various mechanical systems and installation methods.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
• Commercial experience and driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Mechanical installations on commercial projects.
• Lead teams of Plumbers/Heating Installers and coordinate works.
• Implement Health and Safety procedures on site.
• Report progress and liaise with Main Contractor and attend site meetings.
• Manage paperwork and handover documentation.
