Job summary

DT Source Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a long-term data centre contract in Camberley. The role focuses on replacing chillers and related mechanical services within a live data centre environment.

You will supervise mechanical subcontractors and site teams, coordinate pipework and plant installations, monitor progress, ensure safety and quality, review drawings, and support testing and handover.

Previous experience specifically with chiller plant replacement works is essential.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a long-term contract opportunity on a major data centre project in Camberley.

The role will focus on the plant replacement element of the project, specifically chillers and associated mechanical services.

The Role

You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the mechanical works associated with the replacement and installation of chillers and related plant within a live data centre environment.

• Supervising mechanical subcontractors and site teams.
• Managing chiller replacement and installation works.
• Coordinating associated chilled water pipework and mechanical services.
• Monitoring works against the project programme.
• Ensuring installations are completed safely and to specification.
• Reviewing drawings and technical information.
• Managing quality inspections and snagging.
• Coordinating with other site disciplines.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and handover.

Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor.
• Previous data centre experience is essential.
• Previous experience delivering chiller plant replacement works is essential.
• Strong experience with chillers, chilled water systems and mechanical plant.
• Experience supervising mechanical subcontractors and installation teams.
• Ability to read drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety.

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical trade qualifications.
• Gold JIB-PMES Supervisor Card or appropriate CSCS Supervisor Card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
• First Aid desirable
