What You’ll Be Doing

1. Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams across multiple sites.
2. Conduct desktop surveys and ensure installations meet high-quality standards.
3. Interpret mechanical drawings and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
4. Oversee daily progress, conduct quality checks, and manage site documentation.
5. Maintain health and safety standards and liaise with project managers and subcontractors.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or Heating & Ventilation.
• Proven experience supervising mechanical or renewable energy installations.
• SMSTS or SSSTS (or willingness to obtain), valid CSCS card, and full UK driving licence.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Desirable

• MCS-accredited installation experience.
• BPEC/NICEIC certification in heat pumps or solar PV.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Experience with ECO4, PAS 2035, or retrofit energy efficiency schemes.
