Job summary

Facilitate Search Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead and support a facilities management contract in Calderdale. You will supervise mechanical engineers, oversee planned and reactive works, and ensure safety and compliance across site.

With a strong mechanical background and leadership skills, you will coordinate technicians, manage subcontractors, and maintain documentation while liaising with clients and site management to deliver high-quality service.

Mechanical Supervisor

Location: Calderdale, West Yorkshire
Salary: £43,000
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join an established Facilities Management contract in the Calderdale area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical maintenance background who is confident supervising engineers while remaining technically involved in the day-to-day delivery of the contract.

The Role

As Mechanical Supervisor, you'll oversee mechanical maintenance activities across site and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising mechanical engineers and maintenance activities
• Overseeing PPM and reactive works
• Providing technical support to the engineering team
• Fault finding across mechanical plant and equipment
• Monitoring statutory and compliance-related maintenance
• Managing specialist subcontractors
• Ensuring work is completed within agreed SLAs
• Updating CAFM systems and maintenance records
• Liaising with clients and site management
• Maintaining high health & safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical engineering background

• Previous Facilities Management/building services experience
