Job summary

Alaska Black is seeking a site-based Mechanical Supervisor for a student accommodation project in Sheffield, with a second Leeds project planned for early/mid 2027. You will oversee mechanical building services installations, manage the programme, and liaise with the project manager and principal contractor.

Essential: experience supervising commercial mechanical installations on-site and basic computer skills; familiarity with Audit Pro is a plus. On-site parking is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising commercial mechanical installations on-site.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office; Audit Pro preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical building services installations on site.
• Manage project program and materials requests.
• Ensure safe systems of work and quality control.
• Oversee direct and sub-contract labour to meet deadlines.
