Job summary

AndersElite in Manchester is seeking a Mechanical Site/Project Manager to lead HVAC fit-out on a high-profile new build. You will coordinate internal labour and subcontractors, deliver to deadlines, and work with the operations team to keep the project on track. A mechanical background is essential; supervisory experience with subcontractors is required. Salary £53,500–£65,000 DOE with car allowance, private healthcare, pension, and 36 days holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Experience on projects £3,000,000+ (M&E value).
• Ability to read/interpret drawings.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and suppliers.
• Mechanical background and relevant qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HVAC fit-out elements of the project.
• Assist Operations Manager and raise necessary issues.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend meetings and site visits as required.
• Learn and follow site management procedures and develop responsibilities.

Mechanical Site/Project Manager

Do you have a strong Mechanical background with experience running jobs with internal labour and sub-contractors? Are you driven by meeting deadlines, working with a wider management team ensuring the job is running to its optimum? An established M&E contractor, based in Manchester city centre are looking for an ambitious Mechanical Site Manager to help run the HVAC side to their new build development. You (the candidate) will have the chance to prove yourself within a company who are working on some of Manchesters most prestigious projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing the entire HVAC fit-out elements of the project
• General assistance with the operations manager raising any necessary issues
• Retrieving quotes to ensure supply costs are as competitive as possibleTechnical Liaison and review with externals (clients, suppliers, sub-contractors)
• Attending meetings and site visits as/when required
• Able to work and learn their procedures of site management
• Willing to develop your role and advance your responsibilities further, for which you will be rewarded accordingly.

Experience Required

• Previous experience working on projects worth £3,000,000 upwards (M&E value)
• Able to use Microsoft packages and read/interpret drawings
• NVQ, HNC or relative mechanical building services qualifications is desirable but NOT essential to the role
• Able to commmunicate at all levels and demonstrate experiecne working in a simlar role
• Experience in a supervisory capacity managing sub-contractors and suppliers is essential
• It is essential you come from a mechanical background
