Mechanical Site Manager – Data Centre – Contract – North England

Are you looking for your next Mechanical Site Manager role? We have a fantastic opportunity opening up in the North of England, alongside our valued client – a front-runner in the design, build, and operation of Data Centres.

Mechanical Site Manager Responsibilities:

1. At least 3 years’ experience working on mission-critical systems is necessary.
2. Work includes overseeing the upgrade of a transformer and generator to a gas generator.
3. Experience working on similar construction or mission-critical projects such as data centres, renewables, pharma, high tech, or food industries.
4. Candidate should ideally have a mechanical background.
5. Relevant site and safety qualifications, along with an understanding of live construction facilities.
6. Interfacing with different subcontractors and vendors; managing relationships with various companies. Will work with onsite and remote staff, as well as suppliers (e.g., electrical installation, generator companies).
7. Reporting progress to managers and clients.
