Company Description

The company specializes in the supply and installation of building mechanical services to high specification residential and commercial developments.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Site Manager located in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Mechanical Site Manager will be responsible for:

1. Day to day site management
2. Development, submission and monitoring of RAMS in conjunction with external H&S advisor and Contracts Director
3. Liaising with the Contracts Director and Project Engineer on procurement & sub contractor packages
4. Liaising with Project Engineer on design development, technical submissions, changes and record documentation
5. Working in close liaison with the commercial manager on valuations & variations
6. Material and equipment call off in conjunction with the procurement manager and supervisors
7. Planning works against target programme including scheduling in of sub-contractors
8. Management of infrastructure works
9. Management of infrastructure subcontractors
10. Management of Fit-out works
11. Weekly time/worksheet checking & sign off
12. Responsible for maintaining & monitoring on site H&S
13. Attending project meetings
14. Managing project trackers in conjunction with the Document Controller and recording delays
15. QC inspections & sign-offs in conjunction with supervisors
16. Commissioning management

Requirements:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Mechanical Manager in residential construction projects
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, particularly HVAC, plumbing, and drainage within residential developments
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• Strong understanding of building regulations and health and safety standards.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or building services
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance
