Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Mechanical Shift Engineer for a high-end site in King’s Cross, London. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant systems, troubleshoot faults, and liaise with contractors to uphold service quality.

Role offers long-term progression within the business, with a continental shift pattern, 20 days holiday, a company pension, overtime and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2/3 or NVQ (or equivalent)
• Building Services Maintenance experience

Responsibilities

We’ve got an excellent role for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to work on a high end site in King’s Cross This is a standout role as our client is offering long term progression routes further within the business for the right candidate.

As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you’ll carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across a variety of mechanical plant systems, trouble shoot / fault find, liaise with contractors, update site logbooks and ensure the client is satisfied with the service provided.

Mechanical Shift Engineer Duties:

• PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
• AHUs
• FCUs
• Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals, Strip down.
• Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
• Cooling Towers
• Tap Temperatures
• Chilled Water Systems
• Plumbing
• Generators
• Pressurisation units.

Mechanical Shift Engineer Requirements:

• Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2/3 or NVQ (or equivalent)
• Building Services Maintenance experience
