An established industry player is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Technician to join their dedicated team in delivering top-notch wastewater treatment solutions. This hands-on role involves site work across the southern UK, where you'll leverage your expertise in mechanical fitting and TIG welding. We are now looking to fill this position and for the right candidate to be based in and around Bristol, Swindon and Bath or in a commutable distance to Chippenham.
HUBER Technology is an ‘Investors in People’ Gold company which specialises in environmental engineering throughout the world, with a UK operation based in Chippenham focused on delivering wastewater treatment solutions for the UK water industry.
Reporting to the Regional Field Manager, the right candidate will be part of a small team responsible for servicing, installation, and troubleshooting of HUBER machinery.
The role requires a skilled, experienced Mechanical Fitter/Technician, used to working from Mechanical engineering drawings, ideally from a site M & E, plant maintenance, or metal fabrication background.
This role involves predominantly site work, and a company van will be provided for travel (shared with a colleague). Travel includes the southern parts of the UK, Wales, and around London. From time to time, you may be required to work in other parts of the country.
Additionally, you should have a flexible attitude, be self-motivated, customer-focused, team-oriented, reliable, with strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and initiative.
A clean driving license and willingness to travel are vital for this role.
