Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Associate Mechanical Project Manager to lead one of our largest data centre construction projects in Norway, with the option to work remotely from the UK or travel extensively (11/3 day rotations). The role involves overseeing all stages from pre-construction through close-out, coordinating with clients, GC, and vendors, and ensuring budget and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques.
• Ability to manage technical disciplines.
• Experience on data centre new build/refurbishment projects, preferably hyperscale.
• Ability to commit to significant international travel.

Responsibilities

• Pre-construction: establish Master Project Schedule and Budget with client and GC; support pre-qualification, bids, and contract negotiations.
• Construction: manage General Contractor and vendors on site; coordinate Value Engineering; assist with budget management and schedule tracking.
• Close out/Fit-up: initiate close-out, gather warranties, as-builts, and O&M manuals; support final inspections and occupancy.
