Position: Mechanical Project Manager / Lead

The role involves managing the large-scale fitout of an international company's HQ and science laboratories.

3D Personnel's client, an award-winning multinational contracting company, is hiring a Mechanical Project Manager / Lead for their prestigious London project. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team on a large-scale fitout project.

• Manage all mechanical aspects of the project, attend start-up meetings, and ensure completion on schedule and within budget.
• Familiarize with all project specifications and details.
• Prepare and follow up on technical submissions until approval; handle the labour tracker.
• Maintain a progress report detailing and managing modifications or variations.
• Manage the delivery and coordination of project machinery and plants, ensuring sufficient materials are available to complete the project.
• Ensure construction and commissioning schedules are in place and execute the commissioning plan on-site.
• Keep the Document Management System up to date.
• Responsible for project handover.
• Develop scheduling tailored to the project.
• Participate in subcontractor meetings to ensure on-time delivery.
• Attend general site meetings and address any issues.
• Communicate any innovative, project-specific works to the Contracts Manager.
