Job summary

GH Engage seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to lead a major shell-and-core commercial development in Central London. You will own the mechanical package from design coordination through installation, commissioning and handover.

You will manage site teams and subcontractors, coordinate with electrical, structural, and architectural packages, and monitor progress, quality, safety and costs to drive testing, snagging and project close-out on a high-profile project.

Qualifications

• Strong shell-and-core and major plant experience.
• Proven track record with an established M&E contractor.
• Excellent technical, commercial and programme-management knowledge.
• Able to deliver mechanical packages safely, on time and to high quality standards.

I'm working with a leading M&E contractor seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major commercial shell-and-core development in Central London.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of the mechanical package, including:

• Managing the project from design coordination and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover
• Leading mechanical site teams, supervisors and specialist subcontractors
• Managing programme, labour, materials, plant and project resources
• Overseeing HVAC, public health, pipework, plantroom and riser installations
• Coordinating mechanical services with electrical, structural and architectural packages
• Monitoring progress, quality, health and safety, costs and change control
• Managing client, consultant and main-contractor relationships
• Driving testing, commissioning, snagging and project close-out
