Job summary

Core Search is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for high-value commercial fit-out projects in Central London. You will take ownership of mechanical packages, drive delivery, and lead site teams to meet programme, cost and quality targets.

With a strong background in HVAC and plumbing, you will manage client and contractor relationships, coordinate MEP disciplines, and ensure safety and high standards across projects in Central London.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in commercial fit-out environments.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing and mechanical services.
• Proven ability to manage projects from pre-construction to completion.

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading contractor delivering high‑quality commercial fit‑out projects across Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Mechanical PM looking to take ownership of exciting, high‑value projects and work with a well‑established team.

The Role:

• Manage mechanical packages from pre‑construction through to completion
• Take full responsibility for project delivery, programme, cost and quality
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, engineers and site teams
• Manage client, consultant and contractor relationships
• Oversee procurement, variations, valuations and commercial performance
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards
• Attend site meetings and provide regular project reporting
• Coordinate closely with electrical and other MEP disciplines

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
• Strong background in commercial fit‑out
• Experience managing mechanical packages on medium to large‑scale projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and associated mechanical services
• Excellent understanding of project delivery, commercial and technical processes
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant mechanical qualifications / industry experience

Package:

Salary up to £90,000 depending on experience
