Job Role: Mechanical Project Lead

Area: London

Salary: £95k - £105k

My client is seeking a Mechanical Project Lead to join their team. The role involves managing and administering projects, ensuring client satisfaction, overseeing team performance, procurement, scheduling, and delivering contracts on time while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong technical knowledge and clear communication skills are essential, both within the team and with external partners such as supply chain, clients, and contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for projects
• Preparing and issuing reports
• Developing procurement schedules aligned with the project timeline
• Managing project finances, including sub-contractor invoices
• Identifying opportunities and risks, proposing solutions, and recognizing the need for change
• Ensuring health & safety standards are met

The ideal candidate will be:

• Extensive experience with pipework
• Proven track record managing projects from inception to completion
• Mechanical qualifications and ideally a mechanical degree
• At least 3 years’ experience in contract management
• Solid technical knowledge of mechanical systems
