Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support delivery of mechanical, HVAC and building services projects from handover to completion. You will survey sites, review drawings, coordinate designs and subcontractors, and support testing, commissioning and handover documentation.

Travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays is required; you will liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers to manage variations, costs, risks and ensure safety and quality

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical engineering, HVAC or building services.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and review technical drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate designs, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor project programmes and provide technical support to site teams.
• Support testing, commissioning and preparation of project handover documentation.
• Travel to sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays, as required.
