MARS Recruitment is recruiting a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a world leader in instrumentation, based in Oxford. You will manage a range of projects from conception through design and into manufacturing, liaising with customers and design teams to deliver a world-class product.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in mechanical engineering, with strong project management skills, knowledge of ISO 9001 and the ability to plan across multiple projects while delivering

Qualifications

• :Experience managing significant projects or programmes.
• :Product experience in high precision mechanics and motions.
• :Ability to carry out design, analysis and/or calculations.
• :Knowledge of drawing standards and design processes.
• :The confidence and credibility to lead the projects.
• :Previous experience in managing projects.
• :Ability to plan across multiple projects and tasks.
• :Ability to check and validate engineering designs.
• :Ability to prepare and manage engineering budgets.
• :Knowledge of drawing standards and design processes.
• :Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with customers to understand technical requirements and create functional specifications.
• Define test specifications and assist with calculations as part of the project lifecycle.
• Prepare documentation and supporting information for manufacturing.
• Manage the project from start to finish and maintain close contact with the customer through installation.
