Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a global design and manufacturing business in their search for a Mechanical Project Engineer in Leeds. The role covers project management from concept to completion, with involvement in purchasing, supplier communications, costing, and export documentation.

You will hold an engineering degree or HND and have at least 3 years' experience in a project/mechanical engineering role.

Qualifications

• HND or degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Engineer or similar.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (NX/SolidEdge preferred).
• Experience designing mechanical drives or rotating equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from concept to completion.
• Purchasing, supplier communications and costing.
• Prepare export documentation support and quotations.
• Handle drawing changes as required.

White Label Recruitment is proud to be working with a global design and manufacturing business in their search for a Mechanical Project Engineer.

The company is a worldwide recognised machinery manufacturer managing small to large-scale industrial equipment projects in a variety of industries with an emphasis tailored around Innovation, Quality and Reliability for mechanical and electrical drive systems.

The Role:

• This role is varied and will include project management, purchasing, order processing, supplier requests and costing, quoting, parametric modelling and detailed design alongside support with Export documentation.
• To work on industrial projects. Which will include technical Knowledge, purchasing, supplier communications and requests and costing, customer quotations, drawing changes and export support.

The Person:

• HND or degree qualified in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer or similar positions
• Experience of using 3D CAD software (Ideally NX/Solidedge but not a Must)
• Ideally experience designing mechanical drives or rotating equipment such as gearboxes, motors, manifolds, valves, pumps or similar

Salary & Benefits:

• Up-to £50,000 Dependent on experience
• 36.5 hours a week (flexible start times)
